Not a rupture. A step forward.
Not a rupture. A step forward.
The Cyprianerhof is moving forward, but never away from what makes it special.
With Monika, Michael, and Diego, Cultura Dolomiti has found its home. The name speaks for more than a place, it speaks for a mindset: in the kitchen, in how we connect, in every corner of the house.
And beyond. To create, to move, to shape what’s next. That drive for change has been fueling Martin since 1985, when he and his wife Margareth took over the small guesthouse in St. Zyprian. Over the years, they transformed a modest inn into one of South Tyrol’s most respected Hotels.
A five-star hotel with international acclaim in a valley few had even heard of. Martin was always a doer. A believer. He thought ahead, saw opportunities where others hesitated, and made possible what no one else in the valley even dared to imagine. The Rosengarten? Back then, many guests thought it was just a garden full of roses. Today, that striking mountain backdrop in the Dolomites draws the world’s attention.
Is it, at least partly, thanks to Martin’s and Margareth´s pioneer spirit? We like to think so.
The next generation steps in — with respect for the roots and the courage to grow new branches.
It’s not just the hotel that’s evolving — it’s the way we relate. The way we speak is becoming more personal, more open, more international.
At the Cyprianerhof, we’ve now chosen a language that reflects that: warm, direct, human. Because it brings us closer. Because it’s real. Because it reflects what we stand for — connection, trust, and meeting each other as equals.
The classic hotelier couple at the top, running the show alone? That’s not how we work anymore. Today, everyone on the team is a host. Because hospitality isn’t a hierarchy, it’s a shared spirit.
Hotel life is faster now. Guests are more diverse, more urban, more curious. It’s no longer about the owner’s etiquette, it’s about the experience, as a whole.
The mountains are still wild, still a challenge for the seasoned alpinists. But the future belongs just as much to a new kind of guest, younger, or young at heart, seeking something deeper. A place of inspiration. A slower rhythm. And the freedom to explore a richer mix: nature, wellbeing, cuisine, and culture — all in one.
Fresh energy. Clear direction.
The three of them? They’re not new here. This place raised Monika and Michael and now, together with Diego, they’re shaping its future.
And it feels right. Because times have changed. Guests have changed. The world has changed.
And they’re exactly the ones to meet it all with fresh eyes and deep roots.
All three of them carry this change within them.
Life and business partners, Michael and Diego bring new perspective. As digital natives they’re globally connected and naturally tuned in to what’s next. Three years ago, they stepped into hotel leadership together.
Monika — the more experienced force in this new chapter — has been shaping the kitchen for over a decade. And now takes over the full F&B experience. Rooted, bold, imaginative. She brings a fresh twist to every plate, staying true to South Tyrolean roots while reimagining the guest experience through food that brings people together.
The result? A new culinary philosophy: Quattro. Four creative minds. One shared table. A taste of what’s to come.
Quattro is not about one head chef — it’s about four creative minds working side by side:
Monika, Marion, Alessandro, and Alessandro lead — and cook — together. Quattro is the Cyprianerhof’s team kitchen, where everyone takes responsibility, brings ideas to the table, and grows together. It’s about sharing. About trust. And about shaping the soul of the kitchen side by side.
Hospitality is evolving – and so are we.
It’s not just the hotel that’s evolving — it’s the way we meet each other. The way we speak is becoming more personal, more open, more international. At the Cyprianerhof, we’ve chosen a language that reflects that: warm, direct, human. Because it brings us closer.Because it’s real. Because it reflects what we stand for — connection, trust, and meeting each other as equals. The classic hotelier couple at the top, running the show alone? That’s not how we work anymore. Today, everyone on the team is a host. Because hospitality isn’t a hierarchy — it’s a shared spirit.
Hospitality has become more dynamic. Guests are more diverse, more urban, more discerning. It’s no longer about the owner’s etiquette – it’s about the full experience. The mountains still promise adventure and challenge for seasoned alpinists. But the future also belongs to a new generation of guests – young and young at heart – who come to the Cyprianerhof in search of inspiration and a mindful counterpoint to a fast-paced world. What they find? A vibrant blend of nature, wellbeing, culinary delights, and culture.
Cultura Dolomiti – a spirit in motion.
This new strategy isn’t a rigid concept on a piece of paper, it’s a mindset in motion. Born from foresight, it’s now unfolding in real life: felt, seen, lived. It weaves together what has been with what’s yet to come.
The new generation moves forward with fresh ideas, bold hearts, and a clear stance. They hold on to what’s good, and shape it into something even better – for the region, for the people who call this home, and for the guests who feel it too. Standing still? Not here.
If you know the Cyprianerhof, you know this: we don’t just talk about tomorrow – we’re already making it happen. The journey goes on. Are you coming with us?
Conquering the mountain. The view from the top opens up horizons. Pure freedom. You want more of that. Tomorrow. Cultura Dolomiti.
