What makes our position unique
Cyprianerhof is located directly at the foot of the Rosengarten (Catinaccio) – surrounded by meadows and forests. There is no through traffic and no busy tourist promenade here, but instead silence, open space and nature right outside the door.
In just 1 minute you can reach the first official hiking trail from the hotel entrance – perfect for spontaneous walks or early mountain starts. The location is especially valued by guests seeking retreat and calm: Tiers (Tires) lies at the end of a valley, making it significantly quieter than more developed areas such as Alpe di Siusi.

In the morning, the view opens towards the south-east to some of the most impressive peaks and towers of the region: the Tschaminspitzen, the Vajolet Towers (Delago Tower, Stabeler Tower, Winkler Tower, Piaz Tower), Rosengarten Spitze, Santner Pass and Tschager Spitze.

Many of our favourite routes start without needing a car – directly from Cyprianerhof, for example:
- Schlern crossing via the Bärenfalle
- Völsegg Spitze
- Tschamin Valley – Tierser Alpl – Rosszahnscharte – Alpe di Siusi
- Söllnspitz
- Haniger Schwaige
- Rechter Leger in the Tschamin Valley (option to continue towards Grasleiten Hut)
- Bärenfalle / Hammerwand
- Wolfsgrube – Schillerhof

Generally around 5:00 pm in summer and around 4:00 pm in autumn, with slight variations depending on the month.
Why is Tiers considered particularly quiet?
Tiers is located at the end of the valley and has no major through road. This makes it noticeably quieter than more developed areas – often the only sounds you hear are wind, birds and forest nature.
