Elderflower Mint Lemonade
Elderflower Mint Lemonade
Sometimes, all it takes is a single glass to hold onto the moment. Cool, sparkling, just a little sweet. Just a little tart. That’s what summer tastes like to us.
Our homemade elderflower mint lemonade brings it all together: sun on your skin, a soft breeze, the gentle clink of ice in the glass.
Elderflower, lemon, mint – nothing complicated. Just the right balance to let everything else fade for a while. Pour. Pause. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml elderflower syrup
- 90 ml lemon juice
- 60 ml lemon syrup
- 60 ml mint syrup
- 750 ml mineral water
Syrup – preparation (1lt):
- 650 g sugar
- 350 g water
- 1 TL citric acid
- 720 elderflower heads
For one litre, use the peel of 6 to 8 lemons – sliced as thin as possible.
Combine all ingredients and heat gently. Stir slowly with a wooden spoon and skim off any foam that forms. Important: do not let the sugar boil.
Once the sugar has dissolved and the liquid is just about to simmer, add the elderflowers and lemon peel. Leave to infuse for around 3 days.
Then strain, pour into bottles and store in the fridge.
Note: Feel free to play with flavours – simply swap the elderflowers for whatever inspires you.
Enjoy 🙂
