In this lecture recital with Guido Heimpel, we meet Beethoven and Chopin not only as great names in music history. We come closer to them. Note by note. Thought by thought.

The evening begins with excerpts from Beethoven’s Moonlight and Waldstein sonatas — opening a sound world full of tension, energy and inner movement. At the centre stands Les Adieux, a sonata with a clear emotional path: farewell, absence, return. Music that tells a story without explaining too much.

Chopin brings another colour to the evening. With the Scherzo in B minor and the Ballade in G minor, the tone becomes poetic, intense and free. An evening between knowledge and feeling. Between classical music and goosebumps. Between Beethoven, Chopin, Guido Heimpel and you.
