Once at the Niger Refuge, we can enjoy a cup of hot tea. Finally we will head eastward and follow the forest trail and then the natural toboggan run uphill to the Baumannschweige fork. Following the signs we will soon reach the shepherd's refuge standing in a clearing in the woods. From there on the trail climbs steeply up to the right over bends. We will reach Angelwiesen after one and a half hours. Once there we can appreciate the marvelous view. On one side there is the Latemar, further to the right the Schwarzhorn and Weisshorn. In the background you can see the Brenta Group and the Presanella. Then the Ortler, Ötztaler and Zillertaler Alps. In the foreground the Schlern and Tschamin Peaks. Above us the Vajolet Peaks and the majestic Laurin wall with the Gartl – King Laurin's Rosengarten. Now we can start the descent back to the Plafötsch meadow and then over the Traun meadow to the hotel. Highlights Unique climbs in an intact mountain landscape.
