A winter sport, which does not require any previous experience
Snow-shoe hiking – a unique snow-white experience in untouched winter scenery. The only interruption is the beat of your heart when we trudge with snow-shoes on quiet soles through snowy forests and across soft meadows. A truly intensive experience with nature.
Advantages:
- If you can walk, there is nothing to stop you doing snow-shoe hiking.
This type of sport requires no extraordinary abilities, even the "risks" are the same as with walking.
- Equipment
With snow-shoe hiking, you wear water-tight mountain or hiking boots on your feet and step with these into large-surface snow-shoes, take your hiking sticks in your hands – and off you go. Cellular clothing and shoes are required but they don’t limit your experience of nature (show-shoes and hiking sticks can be hired).
- In the hearth of winter
There is no other type of sport with which you can so closely experience the rustling of the woodlands, the touch of snow, the perception of wintry mountains, as well as the enjoyment of being with friends during a snow-shoe hiking trip.
- No competition - you are only competing with your own blissful sensation
This sport has nothing to do with who climbs quicker or who drives faster. In snow-shoe hiking, everyone is as good as each other. The original fear of mankind – to be defeated or worse off than others – is literally scattered by the wind and leaves you with a feeling of calm, with a positive approach of life.
- Costs
Once you have bought your equipment/clothing, which you can also use for any other walking or hiking trip, there are no further costs. |
