Tour description:
Bus transfer to the Fedaia Pass. Approximately 50 minute drive. From there, the first downhill run leads us to Malga Ciapela (the lift facilities have not opened yet and we drive into the rising sun). We use the snow plough position through a narrow ravine – Serrai Ravine – and reach Sottoguda.
Taking the skis on our shoulders, we make our way to the next ski bus stop. We take the bus and arrive after 10 minutes in Alleghe, in the Civetta ski resort. On our skis, we cross through the entire ski resort area until we reach Fedare. Then we take the bus up to the Giauo Pass. In front of us is probably the most beautiful downhill run and we pass the Cinque Torri on our way to Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Now, we use the ski bus for the last time and drive a short way up to the Falzarego Pass and then take the cable railway to the Lagazuoi (2,703 metres). A spectacular downhill run is at your disposal and leads you between the Lagazuoi and the Tofana group down to Armenterola.
The horse taxi will pull us to St. Kassian and we will follow the lift facilities and pistes to Corvara.
We go across the Campolongo Pass, down to Arabba and across the Porta Vescovo to our starting point.
If you still have some energy left, you can drive up to the Marmolada, the queen of the Dolomites: 3,343 metres.
The last downhill run into the setting sun, high above all other Dolomite peaks, will leave you speechless and you will enjoy this unique spectacle of nature.
We return home with wonderful feelings from an enjoyable day.
Days like this will stay lodged in our memory forever.
Happy skiing!
