Wine hiking trip into the Pinot Nero region:
Transfer to Buchholz (Salurn). Wine tasting at
the wine-growing estate of Ochsenreiter with a
tour around the estate. Afterwards, ascent to
the Passo della Croccola in Faedo in the Trentino
region. Lunch at a farmhouse with meat
salad and potato bread. Then on to the winegrowing
estate and grappa distillery Pojer &
Sandri with wine and grappa tasting.
Wine hiking trip into the Lake Kaltern region:
Transfer to Kaltern. Wine tasting at the E&N winery with a tour around the estate. Followed by a hiking trip through the vineyards to Lake Kaltern and then in the direction of Altenburg.
Stopping for a break at the wine-growing estate of Domenikus Morandell with its
impressive stone cellars. Some wine tasting and a cellar tour. Then we walk through the Rastenbach gorge to Altenburg. Lunch.
Afterwards, we hike through the vineyards to Tramin and visit the Elena Walch winery. Here, we will taste some of the most delicious grapes (wines), visit the barrique cellar and taste some more wines
Wine hiking trip into the Sylvaner region:
Transfer to Klausen. From the idyllic little town of Klausen, we walk on an old path, more than 1,000 years old, in direction of the Säben for some wine tasting to the wine-growing estate of Blasbichl Monasteries. Enjoy the views of the Upper and Lower Eisack Valley. We walk along the chestnut road to the Radoarhof farmhouse (biological agriculture), where we will taste some wines. Via Feldthurns, where we stop for lunch at the Unterwirt restaurant, we
will hike to Tschötsch and visit the Peter Plieger winery. If you can still stay upright, you could taste some more wines and have a look around the cellars before we – happily! – try to find our way home by bus
