A tour with many views to the other group of the Dolomites on the south side of the Rosengarten. A impressionant hikig tour under the Cigolade towers and the red wood to the Roda di Vaèl. 350 ascent on some steep and small path, 5-6 hours hike 350↑ m 700↓ m return to hotel at 3:10 PM
Description Transfer by skibus to Vigo di Fassa and up with the aerial ropeway to Ciampedie (1997 metres high). There you can see the beautiful Vajolet tow-ers, the Larsec group and the east wall of the Rosengarten top.
The way leads you along the forest, later on to the Vael Stable. From there you take the best way to the Rotwandhut, because of the avalanches.
From this point you will have a wonderful view to the Masaré towers, the Mugonitop and behind the south and east Dolomites to the Marmolada and the Tofana. Then you continue along the Hirzelway to the Paulina hut, where you can make a break.
After lunch downhill with the chair lift or on the steeply way on foot to the Masarè hut and further to the Jolanda hut. From here you can turn back by the skibus
